DNEG

DNEG is a global visual-effects, animation and creative-technology studio founded in London in 1998 as Double Negative. Following its 2014 merger with Prime Focus World, the business rebranded as DNEG and developed a worldwide, follow-the-sun production pipeline spanning 19 studios.

The studio creates photorealistic visual effects for theatrical features, streaming and television productions, alongside full-service CG feature and episodic animation. Its work also encompasses stereo 3D conversion, concept art and visual development, previsualization, postvisualization, virtual production, and immersive entertainment for location-based venues.

DNEG's credited work includes Academy Award-winning visual effects on Inception, Interstellar, Ex Machina, Blade Runner 2049, First Man, Tenet, Dune and Dune: Part Two. Its broader slate includes feature projects such as Oppenheimer, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Mickey 17, No Time to Die and Avengers: Endgame, as well as animation titles including Nimona, Entergalactic, Ron's Gone Wrong and The Garfield Movie.

For episodic productions, the studio's work includes The Last of Us, The Boys, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Foundation, Chernobyl, Star Trek: Discovery and Doctor Who. DNEG is part of the Prime Focus group, with DNEG S.à r.l. identified as its immediate holding entity.
