About Bladework Games
Bladework Games is an independent video game developer and publisher established in 2020. Based in Los Angeles and operating with a remote-first team across the United States, the studio focuses exclusively on original first-party intellectual property rather than work-for-hire projects.
Its work centers on living online multiplayer experiences, competitive action dungeon runners, and Action RPGs for PC and cross-platform environments. The studio describes its approach as a competitive dungeon crawler: a format that combines cooperative high-speed dungeon running with individual scoring, rivalry, and leaderboard competition.
Current project
Bladework Games’ debut title is Marked for Mayhem, a four-player competitive multiplayer action dungeon runner and ARPG roguelike announced at the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct in September 2026. Set in the shattered dimensional expanse of Galus, the game asks players to cooperate against robotic bosses and arena challenges while competing for medals, points, and placement.
A central mechanic is the Disruptor system, which lets players use abilities against teammates to siphon points and create reversals within a shared mission. The game is being developed in Unreal Engine for PC, with planned distribution through Steam and the Epic Games Store and a targeted 2027 release.
