3 Doubles Producciones

3 Doubles Producciones is an independent Spanish animation, visual-effects and digital post-production studio based in the Canary Islands. Founded in 2017, it develops and delivers 2D and 3D animation work for feature films, television and hybrid productions, combining service work with international co-production activity.

Its production pipeline spans pre-production and visual development through storyboarding, character design, modelling, texturing, rigging, grooming, layout, animation, FX, lighting, rendering and final compositing. The studio’s technical capabilities include character animation, simulation work for fluids, cloth, hair and dynamics, as well as look development, set dressing and pipeline automation. Its teams work with rendering and workflow tools including Arnold and USD/Solaris.

Alongside animation production, 3 Doubles supports co-production partnerships and financing structures for European projects. Its recent slate includes collaborations on Flamingo Flamenco, Rock Bottom, Arnie & Barney and Dougie Dolittle.

The company remains active in production and recruitment. Studio 100 International and Viva Kids/Viva Pictures acquired minority stakes in 2023 as part of a long-term production and distribution alliance; 3 Doubles continues to operate independently rather than as a wholly owned division.
