Kiagu Studios

Kiagu Studios is an entertainment IP studio and transmedia game developer creating original connected worlds across video games, serialized fiction, webtoons and planned animation. The studio began publicly as Saguni Studios in 2025 and transitioned to the Kiagu Studios brand in May 2026, with Kiagu Studios Yuhan Hoesa established as its South Korean operating entity.

Its flagship franchise is the dark-fantasy, anime-inspired Astral Sync universe. Kiagu is developing Astral Sync, a multiplatform action RPG built in Unreal Engine 5 for PC, console and mobile. The project centres on fast-paced combat, a dual-reality setting spanning a sacred realm and the corrupted Umbra, and companion relationships between humans and Evomons. The game was previously referred to as Astral Sync: Callisto and is planned around an initial vertical-slice demo for industry showcases ahead of a targeted 2028 commercial release.

Transmedia development

Kiagu’s approach introduces story and lore in digital publishing before extending the setting into interactive formats. The narrative foundation includes the Korean webnovel 성좌를 먹는 자 (Eat the Constellations), written by Mokma and published by Kiagu Studios Yuhan Hoesa on Naver Series from April 2026. A webtoon adaptation is in production, with animation planned for later stages of the franchise.
