About Cypher Games

Cypher Games is an Istanbul-based mobile game developer and publisher dedicated to creating high-production-value casual titles. Founded in 2022 by a core team of industry veterans, the studio focuses on blending artistic excellence with data-driven design to produce engaging experiences for a global audience. The company operates as an independent developer, managing the full lifecycle of its games—from initial concept and art production to live operations and user acquisition—rather than acting as a service provider.

Core Philosophy and Expertise

The studio’s development approach centers on creating games that are accessible yet deeply engaging. By leveraging a robust technical stack—primarily Unity and C#—the team integrates complex meta-game systems, social multiplayer mechanics, and physics-based interactions into their titles. Their creative process emphasizes high-quality 2D and 3D art, utilizing tools like Spine 2D to deliver dynamic, polished visual experiences.

Notable Titles

• Match Squad: A flagship casual title that merges match-3 puzzle mechanics with social features, including city-building progression, squad-based collaboration, and competitive multiplayer elements.
• Royal Smash!: A physics-based puzzle game that challenges players to strategically aim cannons to trigger satisfying, large-scale structural destructions across hundreds of levels.

Growth and Operations

Since its inception, Cypher Games has experienced rapid expansion, supported by significant venture capital backing from firms including Play Ventures and The Raine Group. The studio maintains a collaborative, on-site operational model with primary development hubs in Istanbul, Turkey, and a corporate presence in Wilmington, Delaware. The team is organized into multidisciplinary departments, including engineering, product, art, and marketing, all working in concert to maintain and scale their live-service game portfolio.
