Black Mack Studios

Black Mack Studios is an independent tabletop game studio based in Buckeye, Arizona, dedicated to the development of original tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) and board games. Founded by Jeremy and Wesley, the studio emerged from a shared passion for fantasy storytelling and a desire to create immersive, accessible gaming systems that move beyond traditional commercial tropes. The studio operates with a commitment to human-led creativity, explicitly banning the use of generative AI in its development and artistic pipelines.

Creative Focus

The studio’s flagship intellectual property is Chronicles of Myth, a creature-collection TTRPG set in the world of Lorestria. This fantasy setting draws inspiration from authentic historical mythologies, featuring four distinct Origin Nations: Deolis (ancient Greece), Norfjal (Norse/pre-Christian Scandinavia), Amajima (ancient Japan), and Zharakar (ancient Mesopotamia).

Key features of the studio's game design include:

• Custom Mechanics: The system utilizes unique symbol-based dice mechanics, supplemented by conversion charts for standard polyhedral dice.
• Flexible Play: The system supports both traditional Game Master-led campaigns and a GM-less quick-play format titled Chronicles of Myth: Skirmish.
• Artistic Vision: The studio employs an imaginative realism aesthetic, prioritizing hand-crafted illustrations that reflect the mythological subject matter of its worlds.

Current Roadmap

As of late 2026, Black Mack Studios is actively preparing for the commercial launch of its debut title. The studio is currently finalizing the Chronicles of Myth Core Rulebook and a standalone Starter Set, with a crowdfunding campaign scheduled for December 2026. The team operates on a collaborative model, combining the core leadership team with a network of freelance illustrators and playtest contributors to bring their expansive world-building to the tabletop community.
