Role Overview
Contractor role based in Montreal. The Contractor shall provide services on an independent, deliverables basis, exercising their own professional judgment, expertise, and methods. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Define UI/UX scope and impact for assigned project briefs.
- Gather requirements for scoped features alongside design, art, and tech leads.
- Deliver user flows, wireframes, UI assets, and specs for assigned features.
- Produce interaction and visual design assets for target deliverables.
- Present design solutions and rationale at scheduled milestone reviews.
- Execute overflow UI/UX tasks to support internal production deadlines.
- Audit assigned game flows and propose targeted UX fixes.
- Hand off completed design assets and documentation to internal teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a UI and/or UX Designer in a professional capacity.
- High level of expertise in using design tools commonly used in the industry, including Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop and others.
- Ability to take complex information and turn it into user-friendly UI design solutions.
- Experience with Inclusive Design and advocacy.
- Strong eye for visual design.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Compensation
- $35 - $40 an hour.
- The typical hiring range is specific to candidates located in Montréal. Compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, and competencies.
