Role Overview
The company is seeking a Technical UI Designer to contribute to upcoming unannounced projects. This role involves crafting essential UI systems, collaborating with UI designers and artists, and influencing engine evolution by establishing best practices and innovative approaches.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact in a visual scripting toolset, creating core UI systems for unannounced projects.
- Implement complex UI features and contribute ideas to drive quality.
- Build components for use by the wider UI team to implement complex designs.
- Collaborate with technical artists and tools programmers to improve the toolset for the UI team.
Requirements
- A solid portfolio showcasing various examples of Technical UI expertise.
- A deep enthusiasm for UI/UX standards and a keen eye for best practices.
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity, Unreal, or similar platforms.
- Experience using node-based visual scripting editors.
- Ability to implement responsive layouts.
- Experience planning, implementing, and sharing core UI elements for use by other UI designers.
- Knowledge of profiling and optimizing to improve runtime performance.
- Experience in mobile UI implementation is considered a great plus.
