Role Overview
Electronic Arts is seeking a .NET Full Stack Software Engineer to join the EA SPORTS FC team. This role involves the architectural design and implementation of Content Tools used by Live Content producers to support dynamic game features. The engineer will work with internal customers to develop, upgrade, and maintain these tools.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal partners to develop and deliver new features or upgrade existing ones.
- Participate in planning sessions and daily SCRUM-style stand-up meetings.
- Ensure code quality by participating in the code review process.
- Solve complex technical issues in a time-sensitive fashion.
- Report to the Development Director.
Required Technical Skills
- Languages: C#, .NET 10, JavaScript, TypeScript
- APIs: Experience with designing RESTful APIs
- Front-end Frameworks: Single Page Application frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js)
- Database: Experience in writing efficient SQL queries
- Version Control: Source control software (Git or Perforce)
- Debugging: Excellent debugging skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Good level of C# proficiency and understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with object-oriented design patterns.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other engineers, producers, and designers.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with gRPC and GraphQL protocols.
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Experience with Cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS).
