Role Overview
We are expanding our Production Department for Deano Series 1 and are seeking a sharp, proactive, and experienced Back-End Production Supervisor to join our team.
In this role, you will take direct production charge of our Rigging department from a production standpoint, while providing operational oversight, mentorship, and support to the Production Coordinators managing Scene Planning, Animation, and VFX/Comp. Working hand in hand with the Production Manager and Producer, you will ensure that the production infrastructure across all back-end departments runs smoothly, keeping our pipeline on schedule and on budget.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years' experience coordinating episodic 2D animated TV series.
- ShotGrid Fluency: Demonstrated experience managing task statuses, scene tracking, and asset libraries inside ShotGrid.
- 2D Pipeline Literacy: Solid understanding of 2D animation production stages, from script and animatic to final comp.
- Proactive Communication: Clear, calm, and solutions-focused communication skills under active production deadlines.
- Eligibility: Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
