Role Overview
Reporting to the Line Producer, the Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a subset of departments. The role maintains schedules, budgets, and the quality of deliverables to achieve the objectives defined by production. The Production Manager works closely with the Line Producer, Production Coordinators, and Department Supervisors to keep projects on track and manage planning changes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall production schedule and manage departmental quotas.
- Make recommendations for improvements to production workflows, particularly with-respect-to scheduling, flow of information, and resource management.
- Send weekly reports to the Line Producer with production updates.
- Work closely with Production Coordinators and Department Supervisors.
- Manage the day-to-day of a team of Artists alongside their Coordinator(s).
- Represent departments in all communication with the client for all production-related needs and deliveries.
Qualifications
- More than 3 years of experience as a production manager or production coordinator.
- Experience in the production of 3D animation or VFX.
- In-depth knowledge of production and animation/VFX workflows.
- Proficiency in the Google suite, especially with Sheets.
- Good knowledge of Shotgrid - Flow software or similar.
- Bilingual (English/French).
Additional Information
The person in this role will work closely with the Paris studio in a bilingual environment, as well as with international partners, talent, and clients. Interaction with non-French-speaking stakeholders is required for various productions and strategic communications to present and promote the creative and technical strengths of Mikros Animation on a global scale.
