Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. The studio is a renowned independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment. For over 50 years, the 2D and 3D production facility has created award-winning feature films and TV series. Current projects include the Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series, the Stranger Things animated series, and the upcoming feature film, Zac Power.
Position Summary

- Note: Prioritising candidates based in Sydney; no remote opportunities available.
The Production Coordinator is dedicated to a specific department and contributes to the successful organisation and production of the film. Working in tandem with the assigned department supervisor, the coordinator ensures the smooth running of the department and the timely delivery of work to subsequent departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the successful organisation and production of the film.
- Work in tandem with the assigned department supervisor.
- Ensure the smooth running of the department and timely delivery to following departments.
- Manage files and administration.
- Produce and format documents.
- Update spreadsheets.
- Maintain a proactive, available, and problem-solving approach.
- Perform extra tasks as required.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 4+ years of production coordination experience in CG animated film or episodic environments.
- Departmental Experience: Solid experience in coordinating for asset/design, lighting/comp, or animation departments.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Shotgrid.
- Administrative Skills: High level of organisational skills; experience in document preparation and presentation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism: Ability to deal with confidential information and material in a discrete and professional manner at all times.
- Management: Excellent diary management skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Patient and empathetic nature when dealing with artistic personalities.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Flexible approach.
