Riot Singapore, established in 2020, is a game development studio partnering with the Los Angeles headquarters to develop League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics (TFT), VALORANT, and unpublished R&D products. The team focuses on creating player-centric game experiences.
The Principal Game Product Manager for Cosmetics will lead the TFT Cosmetics team within the Acquisitions, Expression, and Events (AXE) initiative. This is an individual contributor role responsible for owning the vision, strategy, roadmap, and product outcomes for the TFT cosmetics portfolio, including existing offerings, new content types, exclusive content, store features, and long-term R&D. The role requires leading through influence to align a multidisciplinary team—including producers, artists, designers, analysts, researchers, and marketing partners—without direct people management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for TFT's cosmetics portfolio to drive player engagement and commercial success.
- Lead the multidisciplinary cosmetics team by setting product priorities and aligning stakeholders.
- Collaborate with artists to create content that resonates with players, elevating creative vision to achieve product goals.
- Manage product KPIs through performance reporting, experimentation, revenue models, and deep-dive analysis.
- Identify product challenges and opportunities, formulate strategies, and build stakeholder buy-in.
- Develop decision frameworks, product briefs, and artifacts to guide downstream decisions and ensure team clarity.
- Partner with Production to translate strategy into executable plans, including roadmap sequencing, capacity planning, prioritization, and live operations.
- Navigate the broader TFT and Riot organization to drive cross-functional action across Marketing, Regional Publishing, IP and League Creative, and Brand Partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Product Management experience in the games industry, specifically with live-service games where cosmetics and virtual goods are core components.
- Proven experience owning product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and commercial outcomes while leading cross-functional teams through influence.
- Deep expertise in cosmetics, live-service monetization, and player-facing content.
- Comprehensive understanding of cosmetics-driven free-to-play games, player motivations, progression systems, and live-service mechanics.
- Ability to shape product decisions using player insights, data, commercial thinking, and creative judgment.
- Experience partnering with artists, designers, creative directors, and Production to align creative vision with product strategy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, utilizing product performance, player behavior, experimentation, and market trends to drive strategy.
