Description

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

Founded in 2010 by the original creators of the Call of Duty Franchise, Respawn was created with the philosophy that when talented people have creative freedom, they'll make extraordinary games that achieve the unexpected. From our roots as an indie studio to joining the expansive roster of studios at Electronic Arts, this remains our guiding principle. We truly love what we do and want to share our passion with players worldwide. Our shipped titles include critically acclaimed multi-platform games Apex Legends, Titanfall, Titanfall 2, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond. Join us for the opportunity to create ground breaking games with some of the best developer talent in the industry.

We're looking for a Product Management Intern to join the Apex Legends team. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an MBA or Master’s program in the Summer of 2027 and are slated to graduate in Fall of 2027 or Spring of 2028.

What You'll Do

  • Find the next opportunity: Dig into player behavior to find gaps, estimate how much each one is worth, and bring forward recommendations in priority order.
  • Track the competition: Study new launches, engagement tactics, and monetization strategies across the market, and explain what they mean for our roadmap.
  • Advocate for players while weighing business goals: Be the voice of the player in product discussions and model the expected business outcomes from proposed features.
  • Turn player data into decisions: Review how features and events performed against their goals after launch, pull out lessons we can reuse, and recommend what to keep, change, or cut.
  • Present your work: Finish the internship with a presentation to Apex product leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Master's or MBA program during Summer 2027, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
  • Available to work full-time during Summer 2027 for 12 weeks hybrid or onsite in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Graduation date must be visible on the resume.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You play live-service games and have opinions about why they succeed or fail (Apex experience is a plus).
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel or Sheets; SQL or a similar tool is a plus.
  • Prior experience in product management, consulting, analytics, strategy, or the games industry.
  • A clear writer and communicator who can bring structure to an ambiguous problem.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Transparency - North America:

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco): $37 - $58 USD

Additional Benefits:

  • Interns in California are eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
  • Electronic Arts adopts a holistic approach to benefits programs, emphasizing physical, emotional, financial, career, and community wellness.
