Job Overview
Larian Studios is seeking an Associate VO Producer for a 12-month contract based in Guildford. This role involves working on new projects following the success of Baldur’s Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2. The position is on-site and focuses on managing voice-over and motion capture production processes.
Responsibilities
- Operating an in-house scheduling system to coordinate VO and Mocap bookings with a large cast and crew across multiple internal recording studios.
- Penciling and confirming sessions, preparing scripts, raising purchase orders, reviewing invoices, and organising contracts with the legal department.
- Build and develop positive external relationships with talent agencies and freelance suppliers.
- Collaborate with the casting team, prepare audition materials, collate feedback, maintain casting database, and offer contracting and actor onboarding.
- Reviewing scripts and coordinating session prep materials for directors and studio crew.
- Learn the technical VO pipeline to understand the flow of recording assets and assist in troubleshooting any post-session issues.
Requirements
- Production experience in a VO, mocap, film / TV, or post-production environment.
- Experience with scheduling and project management software and the ability to quickly identify capacity problems and propose scheduling solutions.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills due to the nature of external relationship management.
- Confident working in spreadsheets and enthusiasm to learn new software and production tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle documentation as needed.
Nice to Haves
- Video / audio editing (e.g., for preparing casting clips or video reference materials).
- Experience in casting and actor contracting.
- Experience in asset management and post-production pipelines.
- Experience working with budgets and cost tracking.
