Role Overview

As one of the largest sports entertainment platforms in the world, EA SPORTS FC is redefining football with genre-leading interactive experiences, connecting a global community of fans to The World's Game through innovation and unrivaled authenticity. The FC Live Content Producer works with production, product management, art, and quality verification teams to create compelling live content. This role requires a mix of strategic knowledge and creative instinct to translate data and ideas into plans that benefit players.


Responsibilities

  • Build live content designs using complex spreadsheets, design documents, and internal tools.
  • Translate real-world football events into live content ideas and plans on short notice, which may require flexible work hours to mirror real-world events.
  • Develop live content plans and strategies to retain and engage players based on data from dashboards, research, or peers.
  • Work directly in custom tools to create, verify, and publish live content.
  • Coordinate with the quality verification team to ensure all content meets expected quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other Producers to meet deadlines, targets, and priority changes.
  • Partner with Product Management and art teams to coordinate deliverables and ensure project success.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the game and community to make and defend intelligent design choices.
  • Solve problems using available tools, time, and scope to create unique and fun experiences.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for the Content Production team.
  • Help establish best practices for the team and lead by example.

Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience working on a live service product.
  • Relevant experience in production, product management, quality verification, or game design.
  • High attention to detail with a proven track record of identifying defects or issues.
  • Strong eye for game quality and advocacy for the end-user experience.
  • Passion for football (soccer) and familiarity with players, teams, and leagues across both men’s and women’s games.
  • Experience with game production tools and Project Management software.
  • Experience working with a remote team through all phases of the live product cycle.
  • Understanding of core mechanics of Ultimate Team and other core game modes within FC.
  • Ability to think outside the box to solve complex, time-sensitive problems.
  • Knowledge of improving team efficiencies and processes.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing.
  • Knowledge of in-game economy management and power curve balancing.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range (British Columbia): $67,000 - $92,700 CAD
Pay offered is determined by factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
