Founded in 2010, Respawn was created with the philosophy that when talented people have creative freedom, they’ll make extraordinary games that achieve the unexpected. Respawn Entertainment is the Academy Award-winning studio behind Apex Legends, Titanfall, and Star Wars Jedi titles. Join us to help shape the future of one of the world’s leading live service franchises.

We are looking for a Technical Producer to support our technology organization on Apex Legends. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-team initiatives from a program standpoint and own delivery for multiple initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with overall game goals.

As a leader on the production team, you will report to the Lead Technical Producer and will be accountable for planning, and delivery management across your areas of ownership. You partner closely with engineering and discipline leads to define goals, manage scope, and drive outcomes from concept through completion on projects such as efficiency improvements of our technical pipelines, infrastructure migrations, and version control solution improvements. You bring clarity to ambiguity, proactively identify risks, and support informed decisions that keep teams moving forward.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery for multiple initiatives, ensuring quality and timeliness from concept through completion.
  • Drive planning across sprint, milestone, and roadmap levels, aligning team scheduling goals with broader game and technology priorities.
  • Partner with engineering and discipline leads to define scope, priorities, and execution strategies.
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers across teams.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication of status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, including sprint planning, feature tracking, and schedule management.
  • Establish strong alignment across teams, acting as a bridge between disciplines to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
  • Support release planning and execution across multiple teams.
  • Tell the story of your programs through roadmaps, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with production leadership to evolve best practices and improve overall team effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted partner and advocate for team members assigned to your initiatives, ensuring they have the support needed to succeed.
  • Drive continuous improvement of development processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking in Jira, including initiatives, epics, and task-level progress.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or large scale game feature sets from planning through delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, dependencies, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience owning delivery, risk management, and communication at a program level.
  • Experience improving and scaling production processes.
  • Ability to influence across disciplines and levels, including senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines and technical systems.
  • Passion for games and an interest in Apex Legends.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a producer, project manager, or program manager role, ideally within game development or software engineering.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Expert ability to identify risks early and drive effective mitigation strategies.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on outcomes.
  • Strong expertise with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
