Position Details

  • Role: Producer (CONTRACT)
  • Employment Type: Temporary engagement through staffing partner, Yoh Enterprise Solutions.
  • Location: United States, Remote.
  • Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development of game features and content across cross-discipline and/or support teams (e.g., audio, UI, core tech) throughout established development phases.
  • Oversee development roadmaps and backlogs for specific features/teams.
  • Manage day-to-day operations using project management tools (e.g., Jira) to ensure deliverables are on time and meet requirements.
  • Determine scope and capacity of teams and identify outsourcing opportunities in collaboration with feature leads, discipline leads, and the Lead Producer.
  • Lead discussions on breaking down sprint goals, facilitate Sprint Planning, and ensure tasks are entered, estimated, tracked, and updated.
  • Utilize project management tools to develop roadmaps, collect data, and identify when individuals are over capacity.
  • Ensure sprint deliverables remain on track.
  • Protect the team during sprints by facilitating discussions on scope creep and prioritizing task trade-offs.
  • Surface discipline-specific support needs (design, art, engineering, QA) and align with the Lead Producer on staffing, co-dev, and priorities.
  • Run standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and communication between teams and leadership.
  • Facilitate and/or participate in bug triage in collaboration with engineering and QA.
  • Identify impediments, risks, and blockers early; create mitigation plans and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Ensure features and content are reviewed and delivered on time while meeting all requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across disciplines and with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Jira, workflows, backlog management, and reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Confluence (Wiki), and other project tracking and bug database software.
  • Proficient in both agile and traditional waterfall production management techniques, with an understanding of when to apply each.
  • Proactive approach to seeking improvements in process refinement, risk management, and personal growth.
  • Significant industry experience with a proven track record of shipping titles in a production role for a large team of cross-discipline developers.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $60 - $60 USD per hour.
  • Eligibility: Eligible for benefit offerings including medical, dental, and vision.
  • Factors: Pay ranges are set based on competitive benchmarking, geographic location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
