Role Overview

Working Model: Hybrid (minimum of two days per week in the studio)
Eligibility: Must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract. Open to EU Candidates Only.
Salary: 32,000.00 - 40,000.00
Job Description
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality story telling by building of animatics, shot breakdown of animatics and assembly edits of assigned episodes within agreed scope and in creative collaboration with Production and Post Production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Production and Post Production teams to create the highest quality production within the constraints of the project budget and schedule.
- Editing animatics from board panels and radioplay.
- Undertaking offline editing of finished animation.
- Generating the shot breakdown of animatics and preparing files for overseas studio.
- Checking the retakes in accordance with the schedule and in preparation for online.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tracking charts and paperwork for the Post department as necessary.
- Working with CG and pipeline on new processes and ensuring up to date practices.
- Outputting and video encoding from Adobe Premiere and exporting elements for subsequent stages of Production.
- Undertaking minor animatic panel fixes using Photoshop.
Key Requirements
Knowledge
- A solid understanding of broadcast video technology, video formats and the Post Production process.
- An understanding of 3D animation pipeline and processes (desirable).
Experience
- Previous Editorial experience of long-form Film/TV and/or Animation productions.
- Track record of working effectively with all levels of production crew, artistic staff and management.
Technical Skills
- Editing in Adobe Premiere or equivalent software.
- Basic Photoshop skills.
- Shotgun/Database tracking software.
