Position Overview
The Marketing Artist will create engaging, high-quality visual content for the company's game marketing initiatives. The role focuses on AI-driven image and video creation, 2D artwork, gameplay capture, video editing, and motion graphics. The candidate must possess a strong visual sense, solid fundamentals in graphic design, and hands-on experience in creating polished marketing content.
What You'll Do
- Create high-quality images and visual assets based on creative briefs, references, campaign requirements, and the visual style of the game.
- Create and refine marketing artwork through 2D paintovers, touchups, cleanup, compositing, color correction, and other visual enhancements.
- Use Unity to capture high-quality gameplay footage and screenshots for marketing and promotional requirements, including setting up scenes, cameras, characters, environments, lighting, and compositions.
- Create image and video content using generative AI tools and references to achieve high-quality and visually consistent results.
- Refine AI-generated images and videos to improve visual quality, consistency, composition, character appearance, motion, and overall polish.
- Edit gameplay captures, videos, artwork, audio, text, and other assets into polished marketing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Create 2D animations, logo reveals, text animations, transitions, and engaging motion graphics for marketing videos, promotional content, social media, and other communication needs.
- Take ownership of assigned marketing creatives from initial brief through iteration and final delivery while maintaining visual quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with Art, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to understand creative requirements and incorporate feedback effectively.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of professional experience in marketing art, graphic design, game art, or a related creative field.
- Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, typography, graphic design, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Hands-on experience with AI image and video generation tools and an understanding of prompt-based creative workflows.
- Ability to create, modify, and polish 2D artwork for marketing requirements.
- Familiarity with Unity and game capture workflows, including cameras, lighting, scenes, and character setup.
- Good knowledge of video editing, animation, and motion graphics principles.
- Ability to identify and fix visual inconsistencies across images, videos, and generated content.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into visually engaging marketing assets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while incorporating feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple creative tasks while maintaining quality and meeting production timelines.
