About the role

Position Overview

Zynga is seeking a full-time Associate Manager, Business Operations. The role involves acting as a central pillar for the Global Operations team, driving operational compliance, owning end-to-end workflows for key cross-functional projects (including the Global Fonts Program), and coordinating Player Data Compliance vendor proposals. This position bridges the gap between global game studios and centralized corporate teams (Publishing, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering).

What You'll Do

  • End-to-End Program Ownership: Lead the operational execution of key global workflows, initially anchoring the Global Fonts Program and the Player Data Compliance strategy across all Zynga games as the primary central point of contact.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central bridge between creative game studios and corporate teams (Publishing, Legal, Privacy, Procurement, and Engineering) to review commercial terms, manage vendor proposal workflows, and ensure alignment on corporate standards.
  • Risk Mitigation & Data Integrity: Maintain critical tracking ecosystems (databases, software clearances, usage records, and active contracts) and drive proactive compliance initiatives, such as identifying and deprecating high-risk assets across the global portfolio.
  • Process Optimization & Innovation: Continuously evolve operational pipelines to drive efficiency; leverage modern tools (including generative AI like Gemini) to streamline workflows, and partner with technical teams to test and sign off on innovative creative pipelines.
  • Program/Project Management Support: Provide project management support for ad-hoc studio operations initiatives, including software migrations, tool rollouts, and M&A integration support.

What You Bring

  • Operational Experience: 2+ years of project management, program coordination, or business operations experience—preferably within software development, gaming, or compliance-heavy environments.
  • Relationship Builder: Demonstrated ability to earn trust, empower teams, and build strong, collaborative relationships across diverse cultures, disciplines, and work styles.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal or technical requirements into clear, data-driven updates.
  • Process-Oriented: Experience managing high-volume intake workflows, meticulously tracking approvals, and maintaining flawless documentation.
  • Autonomous Operator: Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive results with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Airtable, and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with generative AI tools (like Gemini) to optimize daily operations and workflows.

What We Offer You

  • Compensation: The pay range for this position in Ontario is expected to be between $71,400 and $105,660 per year. Base pay is based on market location and individualized factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
  • Total Compensation: May include a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in the 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
  • Benefits:
    • Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage.
    • 14 paid holidays per calendar year.
    • Paid vacation time (15 to 25 days) or eligibility for a discretionary time off program.
    • Up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year.
    • Paid parental and compassionate leave.
    • Wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support.
    • Family planning support through Maven.
    • Commuter benefits.
    • Reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
