Role Overview
- Position: Video Game Tester
- Location: Mexico City (Hybrid Role - based in the Mexico City area or within commuting distance to the studio; not a remote position)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Test video games using the Keywords testing process and software to ensure the highest possible quality delivered by clients.
- Test by using the test cases provided by the Test Lead in order to find defects and bugs in the games.
- Enter defects into the relevant bug databases in a quick, effective, and clear manner by using company terminology and guidelines.
- Perform bug regression when required.
- Help with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Stress-test unreleased and live-ops titles across PC, console, and mobile to push them to absolute limits.
- Hunt down elusive glitches, reproduce breaking bugs, and deliver game-saving reports directly to developers.
Requirements
- Mandatory Qualifications:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, with an agile and flexible attitude towards changes.
- Accountable and responsible.
- Eye for errors/inconsistencies and attention to detail.
- Honest and open communicator.
- Ability to successfully meet deadlines.
- Ability to actively listen to instructions and execute instructed tasks.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and analytical.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Based in the Mexico City area or within commuting distance to the studio.
- Availability for an 8-hour shift between Monday and Friday.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Passion for video games, especially sports titles.
- Relevant experience in a similar role in the Video Games or related industry.
- Working knowledge of all next-gen and current-gen console hardware and software.
- Working knowledge of mobile and PC hardware and software.
- Availability to start ASAP.
