About the role

Company Overview

Playrix is one of the world’s top 3 mobile game developers. Games have reached 2.3 billion installs with over 30 million daily active users.

About the Role

The Game Design / Product Management internship program is designed for individuals at the start of their careers in casual F2P (free-to-play) game development. The role focuses on providing hands-on experience on real tasks with the opportunity for high-performing interns to continue their careers at Playrix.

Target Candidates

  • Entry Level: Candidates without commercial experience who possess a strong foundation and initiative (final-year students, recent graduates in technical fields, hackathon/game jam participants, creators of pet projects or mods).
  • Experienced Professionals: Individuals with 1–3 years of experience in Game Design, Product/Project Management, QA, or related fields seeking to pivot into product-focused game development.

Internship Stages

  1. Internship: Familiarization with key processes behind developing game features. Includes analyzing game mechanics, developing product solutions, preparing documentation, working with builds, and receiving feedback.
  2. Trial Period: Execution of real tasks under mentor guidance. Involves collaboration with developers and game designers and taking on increasing responsibility in supporting game features.
  3. Working with a Product Team: Integration into a product team with ownership of a specific area of responsibility. Independent management of tasks, close collaboration with producers/developers, and accountability for quality and delivery.

Requirements

  • Interest in game design and the gaming industry.

  • Non-bureaucratic environment with the freedom to optimize processes.

Benefits and Perks

Note: Benefits package becomes available upon successful completion of the internship and trial period.
