Job Description
As a Crowd TD, you will play a key role in creating crowd simulations, bringing productions to life in a dynamic and realistic way. Your expertise will make a significant contribution to the overall visual impact of film and television projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create crowd simulations to bring shots to life wherever required.
- Contribute to expanding libraries of functional agents for use in subsequent simulations.
- Create soft-body simulations using Vellum to represent phenomena such as the deformation of clothing, fabrics, hair, and other elements.
- Control and fine-tune all parameters to achieve realistic results while maintaining maximum artistic control over the effect, meeting creative requirements and delivering the desired visual outcome.
Required Skills & Tech Stack
- Experience with Houdini crowd tools, including simulation and procedural workflows.
- Experience with the Vellum Solver.
- Experience with large-scale simulations involving wide shots.
- Experience managing and organizing large volumes of data.
- Ability to receive and interpret feedback.
- Ability to communicate technical issues to Supervisors and Heads of Department (HoDs).
