Responsibilities include provisioning new AWS infrastructure, expanding cloud networking, enabling new application environments, automating repetitive work, improving observability, and building reusable cloud capabilities. Every infrastructure request is an opportunity to improve the platform through automation, reusable engineering patterns, and thoughtful design.

What You'll Work On
- AWS infrastructure, networking, IAM, compute, storage, and shared cloud services.
- Terraform, Python, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
- Partnering with Networking, Security, Identity, Database, Platform, Data, and Application Engineering.
- Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD, observability, governance, and operational excellence.
Technology You'll Work With
- AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, Python, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Lambda, IAM, Route 53, Transit Gateway, CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Custodian.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience building and operating AWS infrastructure using IaC.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, CI/CD, and cloud networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
- AWS certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
Required Experience
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on IaC experience and Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes administration and containerized applications.
- Experience developing automation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of AWS networking concepts including VPCs, routing, VPNs, security groups, and load balancing.
- Experience administering Linux systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, networking, compute, and storage.
- Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Experience using Git source control.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams.

Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated base pay range: $136,400 - $204,600 USD.
- Individual base pay determined based on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
- Eligible for SIE’s top-tier benefits package including medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program, and employee discounts for Sony products.
- Eligible for a bonus package.
- Role is based out of the Madison, Wisconsin office with a hybrid in-office expectation.
