- Develop transformation states, supernatural variations, and other special character or monster designs where required.
- Design characters that remain practical for Toon Boom Harmony rigs and animation.
- Maintain character consistency and respond efficiently to Director and Art Direction feedback.
- Explore visual ideas and variations efficiently while developing final designs into original, consistent, and production-ready artwork.
Qualifications
- Strong character-design, drawing, anatomy, posing, and expression skills.
- Ability to draw characters consistently from multiple angles.
- Strong sense of shape, silhouette, appeal, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with 2D animation production.
- Assets:
- Monster, creature, supernatural, or anime-influenced design experience.
- Toon Boom Harmony experience.
- 2D character rigging/build experience, particularly in Toon Boom Harmony.
- Experience with rapid visual-development and iterative design workflows.
Portfolio Requirements
All applicants must include a link to a portfolio of their relevant work. Please include character designs, model sheets, expressive poses, and, where possible, monster or creature work. Professional production work is preferred, but strong personal work demonstrating relevant skills may also be considered.
