Position Details

Role Overview
Game Testers for The Show are responsible for finding, replicating, and reporting bugs and glitches. The role requires analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, excellent grammar, and a strong background in baseball to help improve the franchise for fans.
Responsibilities
- Executing test plans on pre-release versions of software.
- Assessing product functionality against official SIE quality standards.
- Researching and documenting product defects and violations.
- Logging issues for the development team in concise written report formats.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure quality and accuracy in online games and functionality.
- Utilizing baseball knowledge to provide feedback to improve the title for fans of Major League Baseball and The Show franchise.
Requirements
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Baseball Knowledge: Strong passion for and knowledge of Major League Baseball.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to document precise steps to replicate bugs.
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate understanding of networking setup and hardware, including principles and components applicable to modern console, PC, and mobile gaming.
- Environment: Ability to work in both individual and team settings.
- Schedule: Flexible.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of previous QA experience in a related field.
- 4-year college degree.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Pay Range: $17.75 — $18 USD per hour.
- Factors for Pay: Based on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
