Job Details
- Role: Mid/Senior Animators
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Location: Adelaide or Brisbane studios; remote working arrangements considered within Australia
- Requirements: Applicants must have current working rights and be available to commence immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality animation from blocking through to final polish
- Deliver believable performance-driven animation across a variety of assets including digi-doubles, creatures, characters, and hard-surface models
- Collaborate closely with Layout, Modelling, Rigging, and Creature teams
- Respond to creative and technical feedback efficiently and accurately
- Maintain consistency and quality across sequences
- Manage time effectively and communicate progress clearly
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of animation principles: timing, weight, and performance
- Experience with organic and/or hard-surface animation
- Ability to problem-solve and work both independently and collaboratively
- Professional approach in deadline-driven environments
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Maya (aligned with level of experience)
