About Wizcorp
Wizcorp is a Tokyo-founded game development and technical co-development studio serving console, PC, mobile, and interactive-entertainment projects. Founded in 2008, the company combines full-cycle development with specialist engineering, porting, art, and real-time VFX support for publishers and developers working across international markets.
Its engineering practice covers custom engine work, including low-level Unreal Engine modification, proprietary engine adaptation, performance profiling, and draw-call and memory optimization. Wizcorp also supports multi-platform delivery across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile, with services spanning platform compliance, technical feasibility work, storefront integration, and hardware-emulation environments.
Technical and Creative Services
- Core engineering, standalone tools, scene editors, terrain tools, and asset-pipeline development
- Console and PC porting, platform integration, optimization, and ongoing update support
- Multiplayer network architecture, custom protocols, backend infrastructure, and stress testing
- Technical art, custom shaders, render profiling, and pipeline automation
- 3D character, creature, weapon, vehicle, and environment modelling
- Real-time visual effects created with Unreal Engine 5 Niagara and Houdini
The studio’s experience spans both original and commissioned work. Its credits include engineering support for Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A, porting and maintenance work for GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-, technical support on Age of Mythology: Retold, and full-cycle development on titles including Kakegurui: Cheating Allowed, Jetpack Bandits, and Pochamogu. Earlier work for Ankama included the Flash-to-HTML5 and mobile port of Dofus Touch.
Wizcorp became part of the Keywords Studios group in 2019. Through that network, it can complement its own development, engineering, art, and VFX capabilities with broader group services such as localization, functional QA, co-development, and player-engagement support. The studio’s work is oriented toward technically demanding production challenges: adapting games for new platforms, improving runtime performance, building development tools, and delivering visual and interactive systems for contemporary game projects.
