Founded in 1999 as Topsports Ventures LTDA., the company initially established itself as a sports marketing and media rights agency. In 2007, the company launched the Esporte Interativo television brand, which grew into a major force in Brazilian sports broadcasting. Following a minority investment in 2013, Turner Broadcasting System acquired the company in 2015. After the 2022 merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, the entity was fully integrated into the Warner Bros. Discovery global network, officially adopting the trade name Warner Bros. Discovery Brasil while maintaining its legal identity as Topsports Ventures LTDA.
