Visual Birds Studio

Visual Birds Studio is an Indian visual effects and feature post-production company headquartered in Mumbai, with production operations also serving Indore, Pune and international client work. Incorporated in 2017 as Visual Birds Institute and Studio (VIBES) Private Limited, the company formally launched its Mumbai commercial VFX production facility in 2018.

The studio delivers end-to-end visual finishing for theatrical features, streaming productions, and advertising. Its work spans photorealistic visual effects, CGI integration, creature and character animation, compositing, rotoscoping, digital paint, plate restoration, matchmoving, set extensions and dynamic-effects simulation. It also provides previsualization, technical shot breakdowns, pipeline consultation and on-set VFX supervision.

Post-production and finishing

Visual Birds Studio combines VFX production with digital intermediate and finishing services, including conforming, colour grading, online finishing, mastering and commercial delivery. Its facility capabilities include 4K processing suites and an 8K preview screening theatre. The studio also works with virtual-production workflows, including real-time in-camera visual effects and real-time engine asset integration.

The company holds Trusted Partner Network certification for content-security compliance used by major studios and streaming platforms. Alongside its production work, it provides professional industry training through The VFX Institute, with programmes intended to prepare students for live production environments.

Its credited work includes feature and streaming titles such as Pushpa 2: The Rule, Animal, Jawan, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, ARM (Ajayante Randam Moshanam), Do Patti, Turbo, Asur 2, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Gehraiyaan and Thappad. The studio’s work covers feature VFX, CGI and compositing as well as digital finishing and screen clean-up across Indian regional, Bollywood and streaming productions.
