About TriArts Games
TriArts Games is an independent Israeli game-development studio focused on original PC real-time strategy titles. Founded around 2022, the studio is building Defcon Zero: Frontlines of Tomorrow, a hard-science-fiction RTS set on the war-torn planet Eros and planned for release on Steam.
The studio’s work looks to the design language of early-2000s strategy games—including Command & Conquer: Generals, Red Alert, and Warcraft—while pairing large-scale tactical play with contemporary visuals and systems design. Its approach emphasizes macro-strategy, grounded military mechanics, and cinematic world-building rather than third-party work-for-hire production.
Flagship development
Defcon Zero: Frontlines of Tomorrow centres on two asymmetric factions, including the Eros Reclamation Agency (ERA). The project combines dynamic day-and-night cycles with large-scale tactical unit simulation and destructive battlefield conditions.
Key gameplay and production capabilities include:
- Unreal Engine 5 gameplay engineering and technical-art workflows
- Automated infantry cover behaviour intended to let units seek protection organically
- Intelligent weapon-priority and ballistics logic that reduces routine micromanagement while retaining tactical decision-making
- 3D hard-surface and character-art pipelines using tools such as ZBrush, Maya, and Substance Painter
- Narrative, cinematic lore, and hard-sci-fi world-building
Independent RTS development
TriArts Games develops and publishes proprietary intellectual property, providing full-cycle PC game production across game design, systems architecture, narrative development, engineering, art, and operations. The team works through a hybrid model that combines in-studio collaboration with remote talent.
Its flagship project is supported by a dedicated RTS-focused development effort and aims to bring classic genre sensibilities to a contemporary PC audience. The studio remains active in development and recruitment as it expands the team behind Defcon Zero: Frontlines of Tomorrow.
