Trafik is an artist-led creative post-production boutique based in Santa Monica, California. Founded in 2022 by a collective of veteran artists and executives formerly of The Moving Picture Company (MPC), the studio specializes in high-end picture finishing, digital color grading, visual effects, and beauty retouching. Trafik serves a diverse range of industries, including global advertising, feature films, episodic streaming series, and music videos.

Creative & Technical Approach

The studio is engineered to balance boutique-style creative attention with global-tier technical capabilities. Its workflow is built on a distributed post-production architecture that integrates secure, high-speed networking with on-premise NVMe storage, allowing for seamless collaboration across local and remote environments.

• Color Grading: The studio utilizes FilmLight Baselight systems and custom-tailored color science to deliver bespoke looks for high-profile brand campaigns and narrative projects.
• VFX & Finishing: The finishing pipeline centers on Autodesk Flame workflows, providing comprehensive services in 2D compositing, conform, screen replacements, and cosmetic clean-up.
• Production Management: Trafik maintains a dedicated production team to manage complex workflows, from initial bidding and budget tracking to final delivery packaging and archival.

Since its inception, Trafik has established a significant presence in the post-production landscape. In its first year of operation, the studio earned eight AICP Post Award shortlist nominations. Its artists have been recognized with prestigious industry honors, including the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) Award for Outstanding Color Grading, for work on major commercial campaigns and high-profile streaming content.
