Thinkingbox

Thinkingbox is an independent creative experience agency and digital production collective founded in Vancouver in 2010 by Amir Sahba. Describing itself as “The Brief-to-Build Agency,” it brings strategy, creative development and technical production together rather than separating ideation from execution.

The company has developed from an interactive and digital-production shop into a multidisciplinary collective working across brand experiences, digital products and content. Its work combines brand strategy and creative storytelling with web and application design, motion, post-production, social campaigns, immersive installations and large-scale enterprise platforms.

Thinkingbox serves consumer brands and organisations in gaming and entertainment, technology, retail, fashion and luxury, food and beverage, financial services and automotive. Its supported portfolio includes digital, experiential and campaign work for Adobe, Amazon, American Express, Blizzard Entertainment, Chobani, Discord, Magic: The Gathering, Riot Games, Tinder and Wrangler.

The collective has expanded its capabilities through acquisitions, including Salt Lake City digital agency Welikesmall, New York-based Aarra and social-media agency AntiSocial Solutions. It also launched The Heist as a specialised studio for animation, live action and motion design. These separately operated brands are part of its wider creative ecosystem while retaining their own identities and leadership.

Thinkingbox’s work spans interactive storytelling, consumer activations, digital platforms and brand systems, from festival installations and retail experiences to campaign hubs, computer-vision microsites and enterprise-scale digital products.
