The Hype Factory is an independent, full-service creative production studio based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Founded in 2013, the company has evolved from a single-operator venture into a dedicated team of creative professionals, producers, and post-production specialists. The studio provides end-to-end production services for brands, agencies, and institutions, ranging from concept development and creative direction to full-scale commercial filming and post-production.

Capabilities and Infrastructure

Operating from its purpose-built facility at Forty 8 North, the studio maintains a comprehensive production ecosystem:

• Production: Full-service capabilities including directing, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, and production management. The team is supported by in-house CAA-certified drone operators for both standard and FPV aerial cinematography.
• Post-Production: The Belfast facility houses four dedicated editing suites equipped with Apple Mac Studio hardware, utilizing industry-standard software including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Creative Cloud for editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Studio Facilities: The premises features two versatile shooting stages: Studio A, a double-height space with drive-in access and natural light, and Studio B, a controlled-lighting blackout studio. Both spaces are available for in-house productions and external dry hire.
