About Supersonic
Supersonic is a mobile game publisher and first-party developer focused on casual and hybrid-casual games for iOS and Android. Founded by ironSource in February 2020, the studio combines publishing support with technology for user acquisition, ad mediation, monetization, testing and live operations.
The company works with independent developers as well as internal teams, providing an end-to-end publishing platform that evaluates prototypes, supports game design and economy tuning, and helps teams develop marketable concepts. Its services span creative production, playable and video advertising, programmatic user acquisition, hybrid monetization using in-app purchases and advertising, and ongoing performance optimization.
Publishing and game operations
Supersonic's operating model is built around data-informed iteration. Its capabilities include:
- Marketability testing and automated testing funnels for early game concepts
- A/B testing, KPI optimization and game-economy design
- Ad mediation, app bidding and hybrid monetization implementation
- LiveOps support using remote configuration, algorithmic content delivery and retention improvements
- Performance profiling and procedural level-generation tools
The studio initially became known for hyper-casual releases, then expanded into hybrid-casual and casual games with deeper progression systems and in-app-purchase economies. Its publishing catalogue includes titles such as Bridge Race, Going Balls, Join Clash, Build A Queen, Tall Man Run, Sort It 3D, Stacky Dash, Hide 'N Seek!, Emoji Puzzle! and Basket Battle.
Company history
Supersonic was created under ironSource and entered the Unity ecosystem when ironSource merged with Unity Software in 2022. In August 2026, Tripledot Studios acquired the business from Unity. Supersonic continues to operate as an active standalone publishing unit under its established brand and management.
As of late 2026, the company reported a catalogue of more than 150 published mobile titles, with over 6.6 billion cumulative downloads and more than 190 million monthly active users.
More about Supersonic
Leadership and early growth
Supersonic was led at launch by General Manager Igor Bereslavsky alongside Nadav Ashkenazy. During its first year, the studio released more than 20 games and grew from a boutique startup into a multi-office team.
Platform evolution
While operating within Unity, Supersonic built internal engineering infrastructure around Unity Editor tools, automated SDKs and data-driven LiveOps. The studio's shift from primarily ad-funded hyper-casual games toward hybrid-casual and casual publishing added in-app-purchase economies and more advanced progression mechanics.
