Skybound Animation

Skybound Animation is the dedicated animation production studio division of Skybound Entertainment. Established in 2021 to bring production capabilities in-house for Invincible, the studio creates adult animated television and streaming work, franchise extensions, original series development, and game cinematic sequences.

Based in Los Angeles, the studio manages a broad episodic-animation pipeline spanning visual development, storyboarding, character and environment design, color scripting, background painting, animatics, editorial coordination, and post-production technology. Its work combines 2D and 3D production design with production-pipeline supervision and preparation for overseas vendor delivery.

The studio is the primary in-house production organization for later seasons of Prime Video's Invincible, following the series' first season. Its credited work also includes the 2023 special Invincible: Atom Eve. The continuing Invincible slate has been renewed through Seasons 5 and 6.
