Rodeo FX

Rodeo FX is a Montréal-founded creative studio specializing in visual effects, CGI animation, advertising and experiential work, virtual production, and audio post-production. Founded in 2006 by visual effects supervisor and digital matte artist Sébastien Moreau, the company began as a four-person artist-driven boutique and has developed into an international studio group.

Its Film & Episodic work spans concept design, on-set VFX supervision, digital assets, creature and character animation, FX simulation, lighting, look development, matte painting, and stereoscopic and deep compositing. The studio’s craft focus includes photorealistic creatures, complex CG environments and set extensions, destruction and fluid simulations, and high-end compositing workflows.

Rodeo FX also works across commercial production and immersive experiences, offering live-action direction and production, motion graphics, brand activations, projection mapping, and XR and spatial-computing experiences. Its original-animation activity covers the development, design, and production of animated shorts, series, and feature-length entertainment. Audio post-production capabilities include sound design and editing, ADR, Foley, voiceover production, and surround and Dolby Atmos mixing.

The company expanded its Canadian production footprint with Québec City and Toronto operations, transitioned its former Munich activity into a Paris presence in 2023, and opened major Paris and Bengaluru facilities in April 2026. In 2025, Rodeo FX acquired Mikros Animation following Technicolor Group’s restructuring. The company also operates specialized units including Film & Episodic, Advertising & Experiences, Rodeo FX Originals, and Rodeo FX Audio.
