Realm Guard

Realm Guard is a specialized manufacturer and e-commerce retailer of premium tabletop gaming accessories. Founded in 2023, the company serves the global trading card game (TCG) community by providing high-quality protective solutions, including card sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, and binders. The studio is defined by its commitment to artistic integrity, relying exclusively on commissioned, hand-drawn illustrations from a roster of professional artists to create its proprietary intellectual property.

Operational Evolution

Originally launched under the brand name AI Armor, the company underwent a significant strategic pivot in late 2025. Following community feedback regarding the use of generative artificial intelligence in the tabletop market, the enterprise rebranded as Realm Guard and transitioned to a 100% human-created design model. This shift solidified the company's focus on supporting independent illustrators and maintaining the artistic standards valued by hobbyists.

Product Engineering

Realm Guard’s product line is engineered for both casual collectors and competitive tournament players. Key offerings include:

• Graphene Sleeves: A flagship three-layer construction featuring a matte front for glare reduction, textured back for optimal shuffle friction, and a protective micro-film coating.
• Durable Storage: Faux-leather deck boxes featuring magnetic closures, microfiber linings, and modular compartments for dice and counters.
• Playmats: High-performance mats with reinforced stitched edges, non-slip rubber bases, and premium cloth surfaces.

Distribution and Logistics

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, with a dedicated fulfillment hub in Plano, Texas, Realm Guard manages an omnichannel retail strategy. The company operates a direct-to-consumer storefront via Shopify and maintains a significant presence on major marketplaces like Amazon and TCGplayer. Additionally, the studio supports the hobby ecosystem through a robust B2B wholesale program, supplying independent local game stores across the United States, and maintains retail partnerships with major outlets such as Target and Micro Center.
