PhilmCGI

PhilmCGI is an Indian visual-effects and computer-animation studio operating through Motion Philm CGI Private Limited. Founded in 2013 by Arpan Ramesh Gaglani and Anand Shyamji Bhanushali, the company began as a boutique Mumbai operation before shifting its principal production activity to Pune and expanding with a dedicated production branch in Thrissur in 2021.

The studio works across the full path from development and pre-production through final delivery, combining 2D and 3D animation with photorealistic visual effects. Its work includes concept art, storyboarding, character design, modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, simulation, rendering, compositing, environment building, set augmentation and creature creation. PhilmCGI also provides on-set VFX supervision, rotoscopy, digital matte painting, crowd multiplication and complex CGI integration.

The studio’s production history connects Indian screen work with European animation collaborations, supporting both large-scale VFX delivery and character-driven animation.
