Otsu Animation

Otsu Animation is a Vietnam-incorporated animation and visual-development studio operating internationally under the legal entity Công ty TNHH Otsu Labs. Founded in 2023, it focuses on traditional frame-by-frame 2D animation informed by Japanese anime production disciplines, alongside 3D CGI and hybrid 2D/3D work for commercial, game, music, streaming, and original-IP projects.

The studio’s production approach brings together layout artists, key animators, in-betweeners, and sakkan supervision to maintain character-model consistency and visual quality. Its services span animation production, rigging, compositing and finishing, visual development, character and environment design, storyboarding, color and concept art, creative direction, scripting, narrative design, casting, and sound work.

The studio also develops original properties and characters, including GOM: The Mascot and Erene Mochi.

International production model

Otsu Animation combines its Vietnam-based production operations with international corporate, client-production, and regional production presences. This structure supports cross-border animation pipelines, commercial commissions, game-publisher work, and original development while retaining a craft-led 2D focus.
