One Man Studio

One Man Studio is a UK-based game art, animation and co-development outsourcing studio serving AA and AAA video game developers and publishers. Operating remotely with distributed multidisciplinary production pods, it provides hands-on production support across visual art, technical art and game-development disciplines.

The studio’s work spans the creation of game-ready assets and implementation support, from early visual development through in-engine delivery. Its capabilities include concept art, environment worldbuilding, character and prop creation, modular kit design, vegetation, creature and character animation, rigging, technical art, real-time visual effects, programming and level design.

Production support

One Man Studio offers flexible support for partner teams through:

• Full development — end-to-end game-production capability.
• Co-development — embedded, pod-based support integrated with partner development teams.
• Art outsourcing — high-fidelity 3D modelling, sculpting, texturing and 2D concept generation.
• Technical art and integration — Unreal Engine implementation, performance profiling, draw-call and memory optimisation.
• Animation and rigging — gameplay locomotion, creature motion, skin weighting and game-ready character rigs.

Real-time expertise

The studio specialises in contemporary real-time pipelines, particularly Unreal Engine workflows. Its technical work includes Animation Blueprints, state machines, material graphing, calibrated physically based rendering workflows, shader optimisation and level integration. It also supports real-time particle systems, flipbooks and stylised-realism visual effects.

One Man Studio is an independent operating company founded in 2020 and incorporated in England and Wales in 2021. Although its name suggests a solo practice, it operates as a remote-first studio with an estimated team of 11–50 professionals. Its public partner listings include Creative Assembly, Casual Brothers Games and Escape Velocity Entertainment, while some work remains undisclosed under non-disclosure agreements.
