About OmniCraft Labs
Studio Overview
OmniCraft Labs is a dedicated game development studio and a wholly owned subsidiary of KRAFTON, Inc. Originally established in November 2021 as TipToe Games, the studio underwent a strategic rebranding to OmniCraft Labs in June 2024 to align with KRAFTON’s long-term vision of expanding its creative studio network and securing high-fidelity intellectual properties. Led by CEO Noh Jeong-hwan, a veteran executive with extensive experience in the South Korean gaming industry, the studio operates as an autonomous creative entity within the KRAFTON ecosystem.
Development Focus
Operating under the motto We craft it all, OmniCraft Labs specializes in the development of multi-platform titles for PC, console, and mobile. The studio leverages advanced production pipelines, including Unreal Engine 5, to deliver high-fidelity experiences. Its current development portfolio includes:
- Modern Occult Action RPG: An unannounced, story-driven action RPG featuring supernatural themes, cinematic staging, and advanced motion-captured combat.
- Project GW: A near-future, ultra-realistic tactical shooter set within the PUBG universe, designed for cross-platform multiplayer.
- Franchise Support: The team contributes specialized graphics and conceptual design to major KRAFTON initiatives, including the dark fantasy adaptation The Bird That Drinks Tears.
Historical Context
In its early iteration as TipToe Games, the studio focused on experimental R&D, exploring the intersection of gaming and artificial intelligence. Notable projects from this period include the online multiplayer stealth title ZaBaTa! and the procedurally generated puzzle game Foonda. Today, the studio has transitioned into a full-scale commercial developer, maintaining a high-performance culture staffed by industry veterans. While the studio maintains its own legal and operational identity, it integrates closely with KRAFTON’s corporate infrastructure for public communications and global distribution.
