Nordeus

Nordeus is a Belgrade-founded mobile games developer and publisher focused on sports simulations, competitive free-to-play games, and live operations. Founded in 2010 by former Microsoft software engineers Branko Milutinović, Ivan Stojisavljević, and Milan Jovović, the studio built its early work through bootstrap funding before finding international success with its debut title, Top Eleven: Be a Football Manager.

Originally released as a Facebook web game in 2010, Top Eleven moved to iOS and Android in 2011 and became a major mobile football-management franchise, with more than 300 million registered players. The game has worked with football figures and organisations including José Mourinho, Xabi Alonso, FIFPRO, Liverpool F.C., Real Madrid CF, and Borussia Dortmund.

Games and capabilities

Nordeus develops and operates mobile titles across sports, strategy, and competitive multiplayer play. Its capabilities include:

• Full-cycle mobile game engineering, production, game design, 2D/3D art, and animation
• Sports-management simulation, real-time PvP, and 3D match simulation
• LiveOps, monetization, player support, localization, community operations, and influencer partnerships
• Game analytics, applied data science, user acquisition, and performance marketing

Alongside Top Eleven, its credits include Golden Boot, Heroic: Magic Duel, and the soft-launched Spellsouls: Duel of Legends. In 2024, the studio also took on live operations and product development for Golf Rival, a mobile PvP golf game originally created by StarLark.

Nordeus was acquired by Take-Two Interactive in June 2021 and operates as an internal studio and publishing label aligned with Take-Two's Zynga mobile publishing division. Its Serbian operating company leads core development, while an Irish entity supports international publishing and European commercial operations.

Beyond game production, Nordeus has contributed to Serbia's technology and games ecosystem through co-founding the Digital Serbia Initiative and the Serbian Games Association. In 2021, it launched the Nordeus Foundation to support STEAM education, digital skills, and creative problem-solving for primary and secondary school students in Serbia.
