About Loonshot Games
Loonshot Games is a South Korean mobile-game development studio and wholly owned creative subsidiary of KRAFTON, Inc. Established as an independent studio following a 2026 spin-off, it develops original games for subculture and casual mobile audiences, with an emphasis on anime-inspired character content, accessible gameplay, and long-term player communities.
The studio’s work combines collectible-RPG design with narrative scenarios, original world-building, and 2D/3D character and environment art. Its capabilities also include Spine animation, game-system and economy design, Unity client and server architecture, and live-service mobile-game operations. Alongside character-driven RPG development, Loonshot Games works on casual action and kingdom-building mechanics.
In Development
- Project A.A (Project AA) — A cheerful, light anime-style collectible mobile RPG built around original characters, narrative scenarios, and world-building for anime and subculture audiences.
- Project Camp — A casual action and kingdom-building mobile game with 2.5D visuals, playful characters, and intuitive mini-game loops.
Creative Focus
Loonshot Games frames its identity around unconventional ideas and the belief that seemingly eccentric concepts can produce meaningful breakthroughs. The studio aims to move beyond short-lived mobile-game loops by creating games intended to sustain engaged communities and enduring player interest.
As part of KRAFTON’s studio network, Loonshot Games operates as a dedicated development team focused on its own original mobile projects. Its development approach brings together interactive IP creation, production design, technical implementation, and ongoing game operations for iOS and Android-oriented markets.
