About Liquid Development
Liquid Development is a video game art outsourcing and integrated co-development studio founded in Portland, Oregon in 2000. It produces end-to-end 2D and 3D visual assets, technical art, animation, visual effects, and world-building support for AAA and other game developers across console, PC, mobile, and interactive experiences.
The studio’s work spans the production pipeline, from early visual development and concept art through character, creature, vehicle, weapon, prop, and environment creation. Its teams also support real-time shading and PBR materials, lighting, effects, animation, technical-art integration, pipeline automation, level dressing, and performance optimization for game-engine workflows.

The company became part of Keywords Studios in August 2015 while retaining its operating brand, creative leadership, and Portland headquarters. Its more recent expansion includes dedicated production activity in Mexico City and an Australian division working on console and PC projects.
