LIGHT VFX

LIGHT VFX is an independent visual-effects and high-end animation studio founded in September 2020 by French VFX supervisor and creative director Antoine Moulineau. The studio works across feature films, episodic television, advertising, music videos, interactive entertainment and game-cinematic campaigns.

Its work combines creative direction with photorealistic visual effects and stylised 3D animation. Core capabilities include creature and character design, digital grooming, character animation, complex FX simulation, digital matte painting, CG environments and set extensions, surface modelling, compositing, art direction, asset creation, and on-set VFX and CG supervision.

Production approach

LIGHT operates through French and UK legal entities, pairing boutique creative direction with a cloud-native production pipeline. Its workflow uses Houdini, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, Blender and Maya to support collaboration between its studio hubs and an international network of senior artists. The infrastructure can scale to support up to 120 artists during peak production, while the studio's TPN Gold Shield accreditation supports studio-grade security requirements.

Screen, series and campaign work

Feature-film credits include John Wick: Chapter 4, for which LIGHT delivered 183 shots including environment extensions and action enhancements for the Sacré-Cœur staircase sequence; Napoleon; Sinners; Vesper; The Swarm; Saloum; and A Man Called Otto. Its television work includes invisible VFX for Netflix miniseries Toxic Town and fantasy effects for The Witcher Season 3.

The studio also works in animation-led advertising, music-video production and interactive campaigns. Projects include Sky Zero's The Day The Moon Came To Earth with Partizan Studio, Act 3 of Daft Punk's Infinity Repeating, Meta Quest campaigns for Batman: Arkham Shadow, Citroën campaigns, Coinbase's The Degen Trilogy: Part 1, and FedEx's Tall Tales of True Deliveries.

Across these formats, LIGHT brings together character-led animation, detailed CG environments, compositing and effects simulation for projects requiring both technically demanding visual-effects work and distinctive art direction.
