Kepler Interactive

Kepler Interactive is a global independent-games publisher and developer collective founded in 2020. Headquartered in London and supported by an Asia-Pacific operational hub in Singapore, it publishes and supports games across console and PC while combining publishing, financing, marketing, distribution and production support.

The company was founded by Alexis Garavaryan and seven independent development studios: A44 Games, Alpha Channel, Awaceb, Ebb Software, Shapefarm, Sloclap and Timberline Studio. Its co-ownership structure gives member-studio founders equity in Kepler and equal executive voting power on key strategic and portfolio decisions, while the studios retain creative autonomy over their own development pipelines.

Publishing and studio support

Kepler’s services span the full publishing lifecycle, including:

• Production financing and project incubation
• Global PR, product marketing and community building
• Console and PC launch strategy and worldwide distribution
• Creator-support operations for independent studios
• Physical merchandise and soundtrack releases

The group also works with external independent developers and operates Kepler Ghost, its internal white-label publishing label. Kepler Ghost provides marketing, localization and distribution support for selected releases.

Games portfolio

Kepler has published projects including Sifu, Scorn, Tchia, Pacific Drive, Cat Quest III, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Rematch, Bionic Bay, Orbitals and Ontos. Its publishing work brings together projects from both co-owning studios and external development partners.

Following its public launch in September 2021, Kepler announced a $120 million investment round led by NetEase Games, which took a minority stake. The collective later added Singapore-based The Gentlebros in 2023 and France-based Tactical Adventures in 2025.

Beyond game publishing, Kepler develops transmedia, fashion and lifestyle collaborations, including limited merchandise, vinyl soundtrack releases with Laced Records, and projects with contemporary artists and designers.
