Imagine Create Media

Imagine Create Media is an independent Vancouver film, television and animation production company creating values-driven entertainment for children, families and wider audiences. Its work combines live-action production with 2D animation, handcrafted stop-motion and hybrid formats, supported by creative development through post-production.

The studio is particularly known for its practical stop-motion work: custom puppets, miniature sets and frame-by-frame performances made within its dedicated Vancouver animation facility. This tactile approach sits alongside live-action, compositing and visual-effects capabilities, allowing the company to develop original properties and deliver scripted series, short-form work and branded content.

Imagine Create Media’s original slate includes Scout & The Gumboot Kids and its related series Daisy & The Gumboot Kids and Jessie & The Gumboot Kids. The company has also produced projects including Happy Place, Run Jump Play, I Love, Space Kids, Space Suite Apollo, Take Me Home, Baby Baby and A Window Looking In for Canadian broadcasters and educational outlets.

Its work extends to international collaborations, including the stop-motion short LouiMax Dreams of Being an Adult, made with Danish toy brand Maileg APS and narrated by Andy Serkis. The film received a nomination for Best Sponsored Production at the 53rd Annual Annie Awards in 2026. The studio is also developing The Labradoodles, presented at Cartoon Forum with Telefilm Canada and the Canada Media Fund.
