HyperHug

HyperHug is an independent mobile video game developer and publisher founded in 2019 and headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus. Operating under the legal entity HYPERHUG LTD, the company develops and publishes games for iOS and Android, combining survival, shooter, simulation and casual experiences for an international audience.

Its flagship game, Oxide: Survival Island—also available as Oxide: Survival Island Online—is a multiplayer survival sandbox shooter set on a persistent island. Players gather resources, build and defend bases, craft equipment, confront environmental hazards and compete through PvP combat and clan warfare. HyperHug acquired the title’s intellectual property, technical-support and publishing rights in November 2024 and has continued its development with content updates, anti-cheat work, vehicle features, Unity URP visual improvements and seasonal battle passes.

Development and publishing

The studio provides full-cycle mobile game design and development, cross-platform publishing, live operations and ongoing content expansion. Its technical capabilities include multiplayer server architecture, anti-cheat systems, mobile optimization, Unity shaders, 3D art, environment design, character and weapon animation, user acquisition and community support.

HyperHug also develops and publishes casual and simulation games alongside its survival focus. Its portfolio includes Slice Masters: ASMR Game, Clash of Slimes: IO Game, Survival Simulator, Mr. Slice, Melon Slime Hero: Merge Game, Sandbox: My Room Pro, Roll Slicer, Roll Road: ASMR Racing Game, Line Hoops and Brick vs. Brick.

The company uses a remote-first operating model with an on-site core in Cyprus and distributed team members working internationally. Its Limassol headquarters coordinates executive leadership, IT administration and core operations for the business and its live mobile-game portfolio.
